How We Ranked the Best EFL Stadiums in 2025/26

To keep this fair (and factual), each stadium was judged on:

  • Capacity & scale

  • Year opened / historical significance

  • Architectural identity (traditional terrace vs modern bowl)

  • Structural presence on TV and in person

  • Redevelopment quality

  • Overall stature within the EFL this season

Only clubs competing in the 2025/26 Championship, League One or League Two were considered.

🏆 Top 10 Best EFL Stadiums (2025/26)

Fratton Park is also the only professional English football stadium not located on the mainland of Great Britain (it sits on Portsea Island).

Character counts. And this ground has it in abundance.
